Welcome to the Edwards new web site. We hope that you will find it informative, interesting and useful. We have taken some of the best features of our previous site and added some new ones. Although getting around the site is easier, there are some parts that need a sign-in. So, as well as highlighting the site itself, this guide explains features available to account holders.
A fast way to find what you're looking for is to type in your search phrase, wait a few seconds and then select from the menu that appears below the search box. Ideal for product and document searches...
To search the entire site, type in a phrase into the search box, to describe what you are looking for and hit 'return'. This will take you straight to a results page, which is divided into categories. By clicking the arrows you can expand the sections and then click the link to go to your destination.
If you can't find what you are looking for why not refine your search using the top section of the page and trying again.
Project Box (Account Holders)
The project box gives you a convenient virtual space to collect Edwards products and share them with other registered users before taking the next steps. It's not a quote, just a useful way of identifying products. For example, specifying engineers could use this to inform purchasing colleagues of their requirements.
Once you are signed in to My Account go to Current Projects. Create a new project box, and then add the title, description and the email address of the other recipient(s) and save it. Then you can browse the products page and add products to your current project box, using the links to the right of each product page.
Once created, your project box will be available to any other registered users you have specified, once they have logged in.
N.B. No automatic notice will be sent to the users you specify. You can notify them with details of your project and individual requirements.
Edwards Live Chat
If you can't find an answer in the FAQs, why not have a text conversation with one of our specialists. Edwards Live Chat service puts you in direct contact with our commercial and technical specialists around the world. You can explain issues in real time and use cut and paste functions to transmit documents, screenshots, or links.
When you arrive on the Live Chat page you will see a coloured button. If the button above is green, then an agent is available to respond to your enquiry.
When you click the button a message screen will appear. Enter your name and email address, type your message and begin an instant conversation.
We have customer care teams around the world, so can be available to respond around the clock..
However, from time to time all the agents will be busy or unavailable. When this happens the button will be red or light red. In this case please contact your local customer care team, by phone, email or by raising a support ticket.
Please begin your message in English, if our agent is able to respond in your local language you may continue in that language.
Please note that your messages will automatically be recorded as part of our auditing and quality control processes.
Support Ticket (Account Holders)
Support tickets are designed for more complex questions that may take a while to resolve. By raising one or more tickets, you can return to these questions in a day or so to check the latest update. The ticket allows us to record and track the enquiry and ensure the most accurate response is achieved.
Once you are signed into the account, go to Open Support Tickets, then Raise New Support Ticket, enter the details and click on 'Submit'. You will be able to see your help ticket next time you log in, and you will be sent an email when you ticket is updated.
Secure Credit Card Purchase - no account needed!
If you have a credit card and you need to order right now - say for an urgent spare, did you know that you are just a few clicks away from placing your order? And you can do this without any registration or account set up.
First add products to your cart, by clicking on 'Add to Cart' - there are several places that you can do this. Look on the left of the page for what's in your cart and the My Cart menu for the number of items. When you have finished selecting products, go to My Cart. If you know the part number just go straight to My Cart and enter it. If you are happy with the contents of your cart click 'Continue', select your delivery date and shipment method, then click 'Enter Payment Details'. After that, click 'Place Order' and you're done.
You will receive an email confirmation, and your credit card will be charged at the time of despatch.
Please note that you will be automatically registered so that you can buy even faster next time, but this will take 24 hours or so, so you won't be be able to buy again until that process is complete.
It is also worth noting that because this is a secure site, you should not use your browser's 'Back' arrows as this clears your cart and transaction details to protect your security.
